ARCHIVE CT DIRECT LINKS. OPEN, SAVE-AS, ETC. PHOTOS/DRFTS CAN BE EXTRACTED FROM FILES AFETR SAVING. Fuzzy math is 1500 separate entries with many of multiple pages.

I don't understand why the links copy as only partials, but will work pasted into browser once Archive comes back up, providing... I'll cirkl back and do a proper job of embedding links if it does. Otherwise...

Gerry

I got an email from internet archive a couple of weeks ago saying that they were discontinuing the way back machine.

Quite a lot of the old forum threads I'd saved in the past as PDFs, but there were certain subjects I wasn't interested in at the time but now am. So I recently tried to access them. Very hit or miss, so I appreciate the links. Thanks!

Snag these pages while you can folks they might not be around forever!

Steelmillal

Welp, hopefully it's only the court case copyright contention, but this makes me think it's orchestrated. I've been watching much vanish, I heard nothing about Wayback, but am in darker corners than library storage rooms. I've a lot too, but not enough photos/drafts/etc.

Funny, I've never watched the movie.

Whoops, I misread the email. Just checked it again and it's highlighting Google's decision to no longer cache stuff (as mentioned in the article you linked to).

Nevertheless, I always try to snag stuff I'm interested in while it's there. Stuff disappears just when you take it for granted.

stoo23

Well, that is very Disappointing !!

Much like with WikipediA, I had occasionally 'supported' the WebArchive, as I believed it was a good thing that needed to be maintained !!

If google reckons it will not be Caching data any longer, then What are ALL the 'Bots' & Spiders that constantly trawl our forums doing !!??

I am unaware if you have noticed BTW But the 'Wayback Machine' site, has been 'Hacked' and is Not reachable !!

Steelmillal

#5
Wayback machine up again as of 10142024, albeit painfully slow to open. I tested one 'save'as' and could extract the photos independent of the posting, which for some reason on this old 'brick' bisects the screen.

The remaining legacy on archive is TBD. Fingers crossed they aren't deleting all things contrary to the globalist narratives, especially free energy stuff by T. Henry Moray, who replicated Tesla's vacuum tube voltage extractor box. Everybody dnlded all the Badini/Bearden stuff I linked, right? It works for real :)

Here;s something on canvasses, to stay on recent topic :)

Stoo, how's about a cadre of you digi-naughts write some python code to scrape all 100000+ photos? I'm sure that'll wake archive police up :/ Also, Stoo, here's something for you Internet of Things and Bodies, when archive comes up, so you can read up in the coming shitstorm, C40 cities, and other BuckRogers techie stuff.

Sorry.
This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine.

I'm not having ANY Luck, getting Any 'links' to produce anything, since the site has returned ??
Arguably 'Pointless' atm

Steelmillal

Correct. Archive is solo on Erff, meaning zero backup I know of. The link is for when the normal archive returns. It's all open architecture protocol stuff the tin-foil-triby-troop references for agenda 2030 and c40 cities, a la AL Bielik/Montauk NY stuff. The 'Other Ones' you play with may be interested. Good thing computers are fads :)

stoo23

Ahhh,.. OK,.. well, I don't need to 'Feed' that Animal over on the other forum,.. there has actually been Coding posts happening of late :)

Most of the Lunatic 'fringe' material and members aren't as Active, since Hutch stopped Goading and Poking 'the beast' and keeping that crowd active.

The WebArchive just keeps returning Bad Gateway, Time Outs

I'm getting tired . Mad, dealing with all the BS that gets posted on FaceAche,.. I don't need any more !!  ;)  ;D
Mark Zuckerberg has a LOT to answer for LOL

Steelmillal

There's this thing called sleep, Stoo. Get ya sum :) The world will keep.

Gerry

There was a link posted from internet archive's x account. Using that I managed to get to the forum via a search; and mostly I can access threads, though everything is very slow (they did say it would be).

https://web.archive.org/web/20191202131410/http://www.cutterandtailor.com/forum/index.php?showforum=4

Steelmillal

Just tested the wayback machine with something that would violate laws in 22 EU member states, and it surprisingly came up so a hard purge hasn't taken place in the wayback yet.

Might want to pull the old forum pages first as a matter of course, read through them, and pick what you want first before trying to download the entire fourm.

Dbl check that photos are in the files. Photobucket went wonky at one time so dates before or after that era will yield jpgs that can be seen and printed. Cheers.

Steelmillal

I still can't figure out why the saved files have the upper half of the screen blacked out, meaning I can't read the first topic paragraphs. The photos all seem intact.

Get the old forum while you can, at least the pinned topics.

10212024 1705GMT Archive active again. I'll be gone a while. Be well y'all..

This always seemed to happen unless I opened them in Internet Explorer. Now I haven't been able to launch the authentic Internet Explorer since Edge took over. Still trying.
