Tailoring for Beginners

Hi everyone, my name is Paula and I own Cambria Costume House which is on the border of North Wales and Cheshire in the UK.  I've worked for many years as a costume cutter and maker, mainly in ladies wear but I would love to expand my knowledge of men's period tailoring even further.

i recently expanded the business and I now have a creative workshop where myself and other tutors run corsetry, costume making, creative textile, pattern cutting and garment construction workshops.  We have recently added a new course to the calendar which is Tailoring for Beginners.  The teacher has over 30 years experience and we're hoping the course will be useful to anyone beginning their tailoring journey or wanting to brush up on some long unused skills.

Looking forward to joining in the costume discussions on this forum, and very much hoping to improve my pad stitching skills!!
