A little glum today, my older brother passed away.

He had battled cancer for about 6 months and the radiation and chemo appeared to have worked but it spread to his stomach lining and he went down hill fast. His wife range me today and told me the bad news. He made 78. Been a bad year in that I also lost a good friend some months ago and I am down to one old friend but there is some leverage on him, he has to outlast his mum and she does not look like leaving any time soon.

I may have to go looking for that silver blonde yet.

I had 5 deaths last year, incuding my father, I was exhausted at the end.

Sorry for your loss. Some funerals are really disappointing, because they are sooner than expected. I think as we get older we want to remember the good memories.
