Christmas Surprise

Its not all that often that you have a good looking blonde turn up on your doorstep dressed as Santa Claus on Christmas day but today I hit the jackpot. One of my neighbors has a 6 year old daughter by the name of Daisy that presented me with 2 gingerbread men and while I suggest that her mum had some to do with the production of the gingerbread men, clearly Daisy did the icing.

Oh Hutch, lucky you!

Our family is currently childless, (youngest nephew is 20!)  There's just something special about seeing Christmas thru the eyes of a little one - even if its only for a few moments.

Ahh it makes Christmas feel like Christmas. You must have an avuncular nature; I'm more like the unfriendly giant from Oscar Wilde's story, so no gingerbread for me.
