1985, I complained at my master tailor: "What I gone do, the iron buck cost 85 Deutsche Mark?"
He said: "If you want to make a suit, try to baste your coat on the paper bills and see how that works!"
Then I ordered my ironing/basting buck and still have it until today.
Tailoring is the love of doing art at OCD level.

Well, buy it. Prices rises monthly now because of inflation.

My cutting books were before covid 100$ they are now at 400$. 
Tailoring is not for the poor people anymore.

2014 I bought vintage tailoring squares for 10$ they now go for 100$ +

When people were stingy 10 years ago, today those people are totally lost!
