I am always on the lookout for a replacement iron/boiler system as I am babying my Sheldon boiler and iron system along.
I recently connected with someone selling a Sussman Aquamatic II and they dont seem to know much about it. I have looked online for a manual and more info but it seems hard to come by.
It doesnt seem to have a boiler, it has a heat pump? And a tube to connect to a mystery source of water. Gravity fed???
The person selling it has never used it, but claims it was demonstrated to them when they received it.
Any information would be appreciated
Best of luck with that, the old tailor I knew before he retired has a boiler type of iron and it made cheap electric irons look like toys, it had that much grunt.

Funny, I also use that Italian. The 1,5 and 2,5 liter versions are small enough to get out the way easily and the weight of the iron is just right for me. But you must use a water-softener; hard water will ruin the kettle!

Yes I think I found that description too, but I want to know more about the water container. Would is be a gravity feed container?

I love my current iron and boiler set up. I get more than 8 hours of 30psi steam and i have a good heavy iron.
Its just very old and not easy or impossible to get parts, and has had a few issues in the recent past.
Sigh.
My fear with Sussman irons in the past has been finding parts or someone to repair them.
I had a Sussman gravity feed iron for years and loved it. Sadly I had an assistant not pay attention and lean on the ironing table.
She brushed against it with her arm and flinched sending it to its grave.
Anyhow, my lamenting doesn't help but I found this site which may be able to.
