Title: Tuxedo Shirt
Post by: Petruchio on March 04, 2020, 10:22:47 PM
So I'm planning on making a tuxedo shirt with a classic marcella bib front. I'm contemplating an access vent for the studs and was wondering, if anybody has an old draft for formal shirts that covers the topic. Since it is my first formal shirt I am of course thankful for any advice given.

Its a good idea to make a vent.
Recently many of the hard front shirts we have ordered at work do not have the vent and it makes closing the stud fronts very difficult.
I dont have a draft but have access to many of that type of shirt of a photo is of any help.

@TTailor: Pictures would be great. This is the only good one I found after a quick search, but I think there are diffrent placements of the vent, as well. Some are located mor on the edge of the bib.

I have never seen this kind of vent before, how sensible.
