Hi Alx,

For anyone to help you out, you will need to tell us a bit more of what you are doing. The are many very experienced people here but you need to give them enough information.

An old trick for pleats is to draw a stripe of cheap soap on the inside of the pleat and then iron them.
But i think your problem is synthetic material. In that case thereis little that wil help.

If pleats are standing away for me there are 2 possibilties.
I would look at
1. if the part is to tight (speak belly)
2. The inside of the pleat (bottom??) is sagging. You must pull it up a bit till it closes.

I did not know the trick with the soap, Pfaff260

When you fold it ease in a little extra for the outside of the fold.
