Title: Translation Pattern for UK and US
Post by: posaune on July 01, 2017, 09:18:29 PM
I'm drafting some patterns for the US and UK Market.
Now I am at my limits:
I seek for the words
1. which describe the markings for the pockets
(As the patterns include s.a. the markings are smaller than the pocket pattern)
and
2. there is a "Tunnel" sewed on, where some strings will pulled through.

maybe some one can help me?

In NYC garment district sewing factories the markings for the pockets are called "pocket placement" or "pocket placement marker". Either one will work.
The "Tunnel" will be called "casing" or "drawstring casing" again either one will work.
