Hello All,

    I saw a pair of shear on Ebay, looks like the tips have issue, thought I would post in case anyone was interested.

Look like a nice pair to own, just get them sharpened and whoever gets them should get good results with them.

Hello Hutch,

    I saw that the shears sold on today on Ebay for 52.00 USD plus shipping.  The lady that sold them told me that her father had owned them since the 1940's but they for the most part had just lay about in a drawer.

That is often the case, I have picked up some very old shears over time that the son then grandson kept and they get sold usually due to the grandson downsizing and going into retirement. They are often family heirlooms and if they go to someone who will actually use them, the vendor is often very pleased to see them live again in another person's hands.
