I have this book in hardback.  It's decent for pants but no where near enough in depth for jackets.  I have used her pants draft successfully.

Hi theresa in tucson,

You are not alone in your assessment of this book.  I think she made a sensible decision, I can't imagine how much bigger her book would have been with a coat draft.  And, the pants are quite adaptable but still a bit dated.  Imagine how much more dated the coat would have been.

The pants draft and assembly instructions could be a bit more concise and clearer, but they work and the draft shows a unique approach to the seat angle that is well worth showing.

:)
