I'm going to have to change my VPN just for this...
Jokes aside this is a pretty good video. I have been looking at Ernest Wrights 13" tailoring shears for a few days now and am looking forward to purchasing that item at some point.

A tailor I follow on X recently took possession of a pair and posted a snap. He looked like the cat that got the cream ... and then some!

I started thinking about buying a pair a few weeks ago when I accidentally brought my blades down on a pin, hidden from view. It caused my shears to close awkwardly at one point. Thankfully, it was only a minor ding and constant use has corrected things. One day I will pull the trigger on a pair, though. I'll run my cheap shears into the ground first (they're still sharp, just a little short for my liking).

Is it ok if you could link the tailor's X account Gerry? I always like to have a peep  on fellow tailors! :D

Same over here, almost a year ago I purchased a Kretzer 10" tailor shears on Wawak, and they work perfectly— though I did wish I got the 12" instead of the 10", but Wright's shears looks classy and I like it (also a bit longer as well!).

My first scissors were 12 inch Kretzers. Still very nice.

Hot Drop Forged I think the Swedes invented this method. But I'm not sure. Some mountaineering metal equipment is made this way. Their life sometimes is dangling from it.
Those are very nice Shears.
