One of my colleagues found a website that takes the measurements for any type of garment you want ( men's jackets, pants, shirts, women's lingerie, etc. ) and returns it as a drawing with measurements in one click. He said it was pay per pattern.
We argued about whether or not this is useful to amateurs or professional tailors. I personally prefer drafting myself or using CAD. He says it will save me a lot of time, what do you guys think?
Link?
hhouta, you may receive a draft, but will you understand the dimensions?
Understanding that the draft is a step toward fitting, and not the finished product??
I just love drawing.
Measurements don't necessarily distribute the cloth to where it needs to go.
