Credit you, Schneiderfrei for posting all in series for guiding me toward learing women's industry. Also, a six-book set from Japan not one single english word in. Guys don't change shapes nearly enough to quad-triple bill...
Ah Monsieur! mais les hommes peuvent discerner la différence si subtile!

You have all hefts now?
Thanks for posting all of these from these books. I'll never use them. But, learn by looking. It opens up the imagination. Books should open up inspiration. And, these do.

You have all hefts now?
No I don't have them all DZ. I still look for them, but the only very few that come I already have.
The ones I have are now all on the forum.
They are not costly, luckily, but they are very rare.
Schneiderfrei, wich one's do you have? I have a fewe lying around, maybe there' 1 or 2 you don't have and we could add.
That would be great Pfaff260,
Ich habe Heften - 1, 2, 3, . . 6, . . .9 u. 10
By the way I have 2 copies each of 1, 2, 3. and would be happy to swap for any I don't have.
G
I have 1 - 6 a couple double, the rest missing.
I find that they are not very expensive, but they are very scarce.
When I get them I scan them as Colour for the Covers and grey scale 400 dots per inch (dpi) for the pages, that gives lots of detail.
Then I just enter the scans into the forum image entry at the bottom of the dialogue page.
Heft IX is the only one I found that has any male tailoring.
I scan everything with 600dpi and in color. Then in Photoshop I clean everything up and and save it as 300dpi. I keep the 600dpi scans extra. When I print them, they look like printed yesterday, better than the old originals.
That's a great plan DZ
I found that 400 was the minimum for effective scanning for translations.
G
Use 600dpi and you are on the save side.
That is a very good policy.
