Now we meet here... Maybe someone has secured the recourses of getting tailoring material from the old forum?

Hi (D)Z,

Good to see you here, sad to say the best we can do so far is use an archived copy of the old Cutter And Tailor as no-one has found a way to contact Sator yet and the forum appears to be stone dead.

You know someone who has archived parts of the forum?

Not yet but we may have some success with some of the members. We can get at many of the posts from C&T but very little image data which is unfortunate as it means we cannot get any of the pattern data.

Hi Hutch, I get the images when I load from the archive service, I could compile a few things if need be.

I have a copy of the text and images of Jukes's Jacket Project.

Also Sator's photobucket, including all the images he posted to C&T, has open access.

Ah, this sounds very promising.

Is there any reason to not access his open photobucket?

Your wording is making me do a double take. Do you mean 'there seems no reason why shouldn't it be accessed'? or 'Is it the done thing to trawl around someone else's photobucket'?

I mean is it an acceptable practice?
If you have an account and it is open to the public, do you expect that people will access it freely in this manner?
Just wondering about it.

If the images are publically accessible, I don't see a problem as its no longer a part of a web site. It is considered bad manners to leech images from another web site but I doubt that is the case here.

I see all the image data, let me know what you can't get.  Henry and I are date-mining Sator's photobucket where most of the images are located.  He has an awful lot of pattern, measuring and fitting information for Women.  It may have been on the old C&T but I wasn't brave enough to venture on there.

I can't understand why there are so many new accounts on here repeating the same things; and asking it in annoyingly cryptic ways.

What does the above post mean? Which forum?

Henry, I think these are bots.

Or hackers with very poor English.... ::)

Bots for sure.
