Hi all, I saw this inner pocket of a jacket online. Wonder if anyone know what pocket is this, what s it called, its purpose, how is it constructed? thanks in advance :)

Looks like a tear drop. Very nicely done -- I never saw such a pocket. It is beautiful but more art than useable Do you have a pic from the whole jacket.

Hi posaune
I don't have picture of the whole jacket. But I saw on Instagram this tailor in Paris have done it. I can't figure what this pocket is for though.

So the Tailoring House, Camps de Luca, refers to it as "The Pocket in Drop Shape" and its apparently a signature item for them, but cant find any specifics on usage. However, as it appears to be a chest type pocket, my money is on pens and/or cigars. Would be quite impressive when removing either.
Cool detail.
