I got a batch/box of those graphite blocks for tailors from 1930, brand new and pretty scarce. Tailors used them for drafting curves in pattern. Since they don't get those no more they use chalk blocks, which is messy and unprofessional.

One block last a life time. They stopped producing them, too durable and the decline of tailors was the reason.

I got a full vintage box and sell them piece by piece, since I also only need one for collection, as I had another one from East Germany, when I was working in the cutting school, in the eighties.
