During covid, I started to collect Singer Sewing Machines and refurbished them as far as possible. This is my 201K, produced in UK in nice condition.
I will upload more and more pictures to flickr and will upload them there. I just finished this one as my last machine.

Very nice work DZ.  Did you do any internal work on the machine?

I took them pretty much apart, so I can clean the moving parts. Also have to replace parts with nicer ones, also replace stripped screws, when I can.

That sounds very good. I find it rather relaxing to do this.

I did partly dismantle a Juki LH 515 twin needle, from 1986.  I was very careful and replaced several parts, fine grit polishing of the Hi-roses and lots of appropriate oiling.

For several weeks I still couldn't get it to sew. Finally I asked my friend, a Danish guy who had some experience with machines.  He walked in, looked down and said "But Graham! You've threaded the needles from the wrong side!"

It was a fine mixture of shame and relief.  ;)
