Periodically, massive studies were done and captured for design. Below is the latest public dispersal. I've seen two others that pass back to the 1960s. I'm sure the 1940s is somewhere. Pattern formulas have been a focus of mine and current data has value. Someone may find use, especially current studies in latest drafting patterns. Two masters thesis recently read convinced me to post. Best rgds.

Thanks for showing us. I wonder how long it took till the participant was measured. A real torture.
(They speak of a Frankfurt plane. They use it to fix the head.!!!)
For a tailor the measurement tables are not so valuable - we would need it more specified. I'm sure they did this too.

What led me to post originally was a comment from 2010 thesis siting something from the 1970s about the demise of the size 'small'.  For tailoring, proportion systems relay on current data. Here's the best I've found to justify ending my chase for antique books and to buy current Mueller ISBN...And here's hoping Maclochlainn's book is gold!! As for time for subjects, nothing like a captive audience under orders, haha!

I'm still reading the two papers and will post links soon. One is mostly on sleeves. I've also two others on Mueller in use and applied to Pakistan and Philippines women drafting. Here's a recent interview with Chuadry in Pakistan...

...I was reminded of a a parent using STL (stereolithography) files saved from an MRI to 3-D print a model of her child's spine full scale in plastic so the surgeon could see exactly what to do prior to the operation..
