This is the chapter on making-up waistcoats from The Art of Garment Making, which was originally written by Phillip Dellafera (then technical editor of the Tailor & Cutter) and later significantly revised by A.A. Whife. It details the construction of a regular single-breasted, no collar waistcoat; covers double-breasted varieties with lapel laid-on and grown-on; and dress vests.
