I couldn't resist to buy the metric Fairgate Templates and I took a picture, so people can actually see what they get.

The templates are for Fashion students to have something to start with drafting. To get a metric kit is actually almost impossible. The only place to get it is in Amazon, they have the FG15-200 for a whooping 185$ with tax. You can buy an inch kit at Wawak.com for 99$. I am working with the German Mueller Cutting System, and this comes in metric.

To own this kit is pure luxury, I would say. The curves are correct, and you will find out where to make them fit right in the draft. The booklet, tape, and the compass are just additional junk. I actually can only make use of the curves, the center lineal for trousers and the squares. The carry bag is quite amazing and can be used for bigger cardboard templates and drafts.

I could have bought them cheaper in single form, if I had ever seen samples of the templates and then only in inch. Inch is a completely useless unit in a German cutting system, so I had no other choice.

I would say, you don't need this kit if you are not a fashion design student or if you cannot afford it.

Ahh Wunderschön, ich liebe Zeichengeräte.

I thought that too and got the desire to get it, and the metric kit is so rare.

Almost bought the same set before finding another ebay lot. Good price for what one gets.
