Hi Pete, good to see you here. We don't know what happened, it just stopped one day. I think it had been like a ship adrift for some months as bits and pieces of it no longer worked. If it does not come back which looks likely, we are starting to have enough people here now to start reconstructing a viable forum that better suits demand.

Yes, happy to be back. We emailed a few time's about de Rotterdamse Snijschool, wich is 90 years in existence  this year.

I am Schneiderfrei - Graham Boyce.

I used to play Skat (German Card Game) with some young Ag scientists at the local University.

In skat if you are dealt a bad hand you may say "Schneider" either because your hand is as poor as a tailor or to cut yourself out of the game.

My friends used to joke that their hand was "Schneiderfrei" to indicate their hand was free of the condition of Schneider.

So I am Schneiderfrei to say my hand is not too bad.
