These shears had an unfortunate history, the original guy who organised the production run from an old Italian manufacturer apparently was not all that honest and did not fulfill the orders properly. The current vendor who took over the task is not that type of problem, he is selling through eBay with all of the usual garrantees so if you are after a high end tailor's tool and don't mind paying for a premium tool, this may be the pair for you.

Hello Hutch,

    I think they are going for $399.00, plus shipping on Ebay, they are certainly beautiful, not sure what happened to Gustavo, who was originally involved with these items.

If its the original guy who set up the production run, he may be wearing a striped suit and digging holes in a facility in Portugal. The guy who took it over seems to be OK and is selling the few remaining pairs through eBay which is safe financially.
