Clarence Poulin lost media

As many here know, the late Clarence Poulin wrote the well known book "Tailoring Suits the Professional Way" in 1953, which was revised in 1973. Many still regard this as a great manual to this day and both editions are available on archive if your interested.

What many don't know is that this wasn't the only tailoring book he published, let alone the only book either. Apparently, Poulin was very into poetry.

Here's the list of all the lost works he wrote, which are organized by date. Two of these books would be of great interest to most of you.

• Supplementary Lessons in Women's and Men's Suit Tailoring (1962)
• In Wonder and Unknowing (1966)
• Garment Altering and Repairing and Tailor Shop Management (1967)
• The Songs of Coheleth: and Seekers of Love
• Echoes from a Green Valley: Poems from the Plantation of Pennycook* (1972)
• A Seventy-fifth Anniversary History of Immaculate Conception Church, Penacook, New Hampshire, 1898-1973 (1974)
• A Lamp in the Window and Other Poems (1977)

*Pennycook is likely the "local calling" for Penacook (N.H.), which would ring a bell to some of you.

If someone has some information on this lost media, it would be great to learn some details on a few of these works  .

I wish, I checked all the usual suspects (Book vendors) and found that you were correct.  No trace.

What is "Vatican"? I'm unfamiliar with that term (when not describing Catholicism).

That stinks. for sure those two books would have been so fascinating. I find it really strange that there is no trace relating to his lost works, because Steelmillal found at least two of the poetry works, but not the "big cheese" (or I guess the "big book").
Although I did find this copyright entries which had Poulin's first work after TSTPW, It doesn't really help anything but I thought it was just kinda cool.

Thank you, Sir. Thom Bennet posted this, too, a day after I asked, but independent of request here.

It'll be good to see instructions and present-day example for my practice, and to compare my '73 copy to become aware of other omissions-'advancements'. Thx again, Schneiderfrei.

Probably not the easy solution you would want, but Worldcat is a good source to find a lot of these works in libraries. You can request them from within the United States if you are fortunate to have a library with a generous interlibrary loan program like mine.

I also had a thought that maybe if I visit Washington DC at some point, I might go check at the library of Congress since they have almost every book that has been published in the US.

BTW It's 1952

I don't want to be the nit picker Schneiderfrei, but that is "ackshully" the 1953 edition of TSTPW. The 1952 edition didn't have the supplementary material. I know this because I own a copy of the 1953 edition' with the dust cover (see the images below). Also the page corpright says "1952, 1953".
