Only time I've seen Zappa in a suit outside the crossfire films on free speech from the 80s. Them's're too serious, tho :)

For Hutch and the rest of the wanna-be reprobates around this beautiful blue ball called EarF. Be well, All, and roll on!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddQVuhd7xLI

I used to go watch Speedway, ... Sprint cars, Super Modified's, Solo's and Sidecars at that Venue being the Royal Agricultural Society Showgrounds in Sydney, ...actually not that far from Hutch's house,... a 10 to 15 minute walk across the main road and through Moore Park.
You can see HButch's St and house in the upper left, with the Showground, where that footage was shot in the lower right :)

The "Royal Easter Show" was there as well, until the Government did a 'Deal' with FOX and sold the land and the Society and Show had to move to a new (Awful) facility (the Olympics site in fact), at Homebush, a suburb in Sydney's Inner West  >:(  :(

Sounds fun. We had county fairs, smash up cars, combine battles, and lawn mover racing back in the day. Now,the more I run down rabbit holes looking for truth, the more 'Gubment' rhymes with 'corrupt thieving bastards', and in every language from innocent small towns to mega-metropoleis.

Anyway, Be well all. Shortest night and longest day, so make hay, today, OK? :)

That looks like a decent half mile track. Oh, how to still be able to fix things w/o electrical gizmo assistance (I helped a friend change a modern engine and now it needs taken to dealer to 'flash the computer'.)

Thought about going back to the steam engine. Wonder how far I could go before needing to add more fuel to the fire. They have quick acceleration. Don't want the pipes to freeze up during winter. It was snowing up the mountain pass a couple of weeks ago. I'm still waiting for the promised global warming. Then I don't need to worry about frozen pipes. There are plenty of mechanics that quit when the electronic and computer stuff showed up. And, of course, got to wait for a head of steam to build up. Maybe in the future.
