Hi all. I'm a Dutch pattern-maker from Amsterdam who used tot work as a leather-stitcher. Nowadays I'm working in a different profession and all that's left of my previous job is making made to measure shirts for me and my son on my household machine. I've still got my industrial Singer leathermachine though.
I don't have a lot of expirience in tailored handmade clothing but with my purchase of Roberto Cabrera's 'Tailoring techniques' I hope this is soon gonna change. I'm planning tot start off with a waistcoat so right now I'm studying the book tot get to learn the skills I need. Hope I can figure it all out by myself but if get lost I know where tot find you.

If you have any German, the Rundschau books are excellent.  There are also many translated pages in these fora.

I printed the Poulin book a few days ago. Will be mentally preparing a while before I start. I had a subscription on Rundschau years ago so I have lots of magazines which contain different waiscoat-descriptons too. Luckily I won't have to search for any. Hope I'll find some freetime soon.
