Waltzing Vienna
« on: October 18, 2020, 06:52:39 AM »
Hi!
This is Barbara Boll from Vienna, Austria, formerly known as Eboli at cutterandtailor's. I'm a member of the Vienna tailoring guild, specializing in bespoke bra making.
After 10 years of experience I've developed a new method of industrial bra sizing that I've submitted to patent.

Apart from that I'm a fitting ayatollah, especially pursuing pattern makers that ignore curvy female bodies. We aren't 16 year old lads, damn it, and we deserve better.

Hi Eboli
nice that you are here - long time I did not read anything from you. (Cutter and Tailor, Hobbyschneiderin)
And yes, we deserve  better!
My friend and me now are experimenting with a special programming to get patterns which are adjusting to those body needs. In the progress we learn a lot more about how everything is related.
Maybe you can push a little live in the ladies department.

It's great to find another Cutter and Tailor member.  A fitting "ayatollah". Excellent.

Its good to see specialists, not everyone can buy things from Walmart or similar that even vaguely fit and having people with the expertise to custom design and make specialised items fits a need that is not well catered for.

Another factor is who mass produced items even fit and this tends to be from the country of origin, some of the Chinese made stuff will not fit different shaped Europeans and in my own case where some of the ordinary items were outsourced to Pacific islands, they did not fit at all. To get the length, they were a yard wide.
